Let Jesus Fill This City

The mission of Washington Assembly of God is simple: To fill our city with Jesus. Acts 5:28 says –

“We gave you strict orders never again to teach in this man’s name!” he said. “Instead, you have filled all Jerusalem with your teaching about him…”

We began to dream about what our city would look like if it was truly filled with Jesus. If Washington is filled with Jesus then there is no more room for hate, racism, violence, drug abuse, alcoholism and so on. If the disciples filled Jerusalem with Jesus, why can’t we fill Washington with Jesus So we have made it our mission to fill Washington with the love of Jesus, the kindness of Jesus, the compassion of Jesus, the grace of Jesus, the goodness of Jesus. As Romans 12:21 says –

Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
